The job + The responsibility
- Writing news stories, summaries, background reports, and correspondent reports based on content from the Associated Press (AP) international news service
- Monitoring the news landscape and independently making editorial decisions regarding the priority and scope of coverage
You + Your strengths
- A college degree, solid training in journalism, and several years of professional experience
- Experience working in the editorial department of a news agency
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and reliably even under significant time pressure
- Excellent command of English and a keen feel for the German language
- A strong interest in global issues and international news
- Experience in news judgment and decision-making skills
